Enrollment: To register and enroll for any of our programs, please email john@wintervaleranch.com or call 612.940-9288 for program information and registration application.
Payment: We accept MasterCard, Visa, DiscoverCards and personal checks made to: Wintervale Ranch. Most of our programs have limited seating and fill quickly. As such, we require a $150.00 deposit at the time of registration, to guarantee participation. The deposit is fully refundable with a 72- hour cancellation notice.
Time: Our programs meet from 10 – 4pm, unless otherwise specified. Participants are encouraged to arrive between 15-30 minutes before the program’s start time to complete registration forms so we may begin on time with everyone present.
Student Forms and Releases: Our insurance underwriter requires a signed ‘Release of Liability’ waiver by all participants and/or parent or legal guardian if participant is under 18 years of age. Participation in the ranch/horse activities will not be allowed unless this form is completed and signed. Photo/Video releases and medical emergency treatment forms are also required to be completed and signed prior to commencement of our programs. These forms are included with each application, and can be previewed before enrollment.
What to Bring:
The weather is variable and season dependent. Suggested attire includes jeans and layered clothing ( including sweatshirts, vests, sweaters and rain gear) Boots or sturdy shoes ( no opened toes or heels) are required for safety around the horses. Hats and sunscreen are suggested for the summer months.
Journals, Phones and Cameras: Participants are encouraged to bring a personal journal. Please be prepared to turn off all electronic devices during our equine guided activities, and process sessions. There is plenty of time on breaks, before and after sessions for photos, and message retrieval
